initially inspired by my interest in tattoos, this project was ultimately pushed forward by my love for people. people gathering over a shared a similarity (in this case, tattoos). imagined in the same season as james blake's "friends that break your heart” album release, these images were heavily influenced by my reflections on the people I’ve experienced closeness with, and the ways I keep them in my heart.
